Published the Stated of Testing 2013 Survey Report

State_of_Testing_guyI wanted to write a short post to let everyone know that earlier today we published the report for the State of Testing 2013 Survey.

Personally, after reviewing the results, there were some things that were clear to me from the beginning (e.g. the methods testers use to learn the craft), but other things that surprised me completely (I will let you go and read the report to find them out by yourselves).

In any case, creating and running this survey together with the guys from Tea-Time with Testers was very fun and interesting.

It was especially gratifying to see how a large number of testing bloggers and tweeps helped us to spread the word around and get over 650 testing professionals to answer our questionnaire and help us reach meaningful conclusions.

I invite you to go to the survey report and check out the results.

Tell us what you think!

We are planning on continuing with this project and run a similar survey towards the end of 2014, so any comments, insights and inputs will be greatly appreciated.

Feel free to spread the word and most importantly to use the information from this State of Testing as the input and feedback that will help you to continue growing as a Testing Professional, and that will also provide you with ideas on how to improve your work and that of your team.
